Get to know me 🙋🏻♀️
It’s been a while since I shared my story, so allow me to reintroduce myself 🙋🏻♀️
from what shaped me as a kid to the day I moved to New York and everything that’s happened since then, I hope this helps you get to know me a little better 💖
Sharing a bit more about my journey feels like opening a favorite book that’s still being written. Like Austen, I found my love for storytelling early on—it’s incredible how those childhood passions shape who we become. Transitioning to a busy city like New York to pursue creative dreams can be both thrilling and daunting. For me, the energy of city living fuels creativity but also brings challenges balancing work, social life, and self-care. What resonates is the shift from traditional 9-5 jobs to building a self-sustaining creative business. It’s empowering yet requires dedication, learning business skills, and embracing a growth mindset. Austen’s path of blogging, interning at top magazines, and evolving her content over the years highlights the importance of adaptability in the digital age. Her move from NYC to Hoboken is a reminder that sometimes stepping out of our comfort zones and embracing new communities leads to unexpected joy and growth. I’ve experienced this too—relocating can be scary but finding a supportive local community really helps. The emphasis on creating real connections, whether through intimate moments like meeting a life partner or bonding with close friends, rounds out the story beautifully. Life in your 30s is about more than career; it’s about building a fulfilling life on your terms. For anyone navigating their 30s, Austen’s story encourages embracing changes, pursuing passions wholeheartedly, and making space for fun along the way. Whether it’s journaling as a kid, curating #OOTDs, or launching digital products, every step contributes to a unique and meaningful journey that anyone can create.
