Using 10 years to declare my name.

Exactly 10 years it took—for me to finally stand firm and declare who I truly am.

Throughout my life, I’ve been misunderstood, mistaken, accused, and judged in ways people never took the time to understand. Proving my innocence always seemed to take longer than the accusations themselves. And yes, I hated that feeling—the feeling of not being heard, not being believed, and being misunderstood.

Healing from all those emotions didn’t happen overnight. It took years. Years of quiet pain, self-doubt, and inner battles that no one really saw. But through it all, I learned something powerful: I was never truly alone. Those who genuinely know me stood by my side, defended me, and believed in me even when the world didn’t.

Today, I choose peace over explanation. Strength over resentment. Growth over bitterness.

I’ve survived what was meant to break me, and I’m still standing—stronger, wiser, and more grounded than ever.

Right now, my only wish is simple and heartfelt:

That my grandma continues to heal, slowly but surely.

Everything else can wait. ❤️

It takes immense courage not only to face the judgments and accusations but to actively choose healing and growth despite them. Many people hide their struggles behind a facade, fearing vulnerability or rejection. But slowly opening up to trusted friends or family can offer a vital support network that reminds us we are never truly alone. The emotional turmoil caused by misunderstandings often leads to self-doubt and isolation. I found that journaling my feelings helped me process the quiet pain within and gave me clarity about who I am beyond others' perceptions. Choosing peace over constant explanation frees up energy for personal growth instead of dwelling on bitterness or resentment. It’s important to celebrate small victories, like recognizing inner strength or wisdom gained from hardships. Additionally, witnessing a loved one’s healing process, like hoping for a grandmother’s gradual recovery, adds layers of compassion and perspective to our own journeys. It reminds us that healing is often slow and non-linear, but every step forward matters immensely. In my experience, embracing patience and gratitude helped me stay grounded during difficult times. For anyone feeling unheard or misunderstood, remember that your story and truth hold power. Standing firm in your identity after years of struggle is transformative, allowing you to live authentically and with renewed hope for the future.

Been using this daily contact lenses for 2 YEARS!
No need to go JB for affordable contact lense, the store is in Somerset 🤯 I used to be a colored lens girly, the kind who stretched one pair for months at a time. Then I came across an article that explained how damaging that actually is for your eyes and how crucial proper eye health really is.
