So maybe about two months ago, I found this place called District Donuts. I saw this biscuit on TikTok—it had a chicken patty on it with butter—and I really wanted to try it. I honestly didn’t expect it to be as good as it was, but when I tried it… it was absolutely amazing.

Then I heard there was a place that had the best king cake in the world, so of course I had to find out who it was. And not to my surprise, it was District Donuts once again.

So far, on the running list of things I’ve tried at District Donuts:

• The burger — 10 out of 10

• The cinnamon rolls — 10 out of 10

• And they even have this sweet corn ooey-gooey ice cream, which is a good 15 out of 10

• The grits: I said what I said 😂😂. Watch the last video for that.eeeeyuckkkkk but I love yall lol.

But to focus on the king cake—the king cake is very, very, very, very, very good. And like I said in the video, I’m not a fan of almond flavor, but the almond here wasn’t super overpowering. It’s more concentrated in one part of the king cake, which to me is perfect. The flavor isn’t overwhelming—it’s just a hint of almond. it’s very complementary

On top of that, I’m a bread person. I love bread. Anything buttery? That’s right up my alley. So the fact that they used croissant bread for this king cake makes it even better. 15/10

And yeah… let me know if y’all want me to do more videos with that girl who “broke up with me.” Until then, y’all will probably see her again. I’ll rate her next.
