AND THAT’S A WRAP! 🥳
It’s been quite the year. It felt amazing to publish two books in 2025 after only doing one book per year in 2023 and 2024.
I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll be able to do the same in 2026. (Hopefully Theo and Nora’s book will cooperate better than it has been. 😅)
Did you read any of these books this year? What surprised you about my wrapped?
I can’t wait to see yours!
It's incredible to look back at everything that happened in my author life this past year. Beyond just the numbers and releases, it's truly a journey I cherish, and I love sharing it with all of you who follow my stories. As many of you know, my name is Judy Corry, and I pour my heart into writing contemporary romance novels – stories filled with emotion, hope, and often a touch of drama that keeps you turning pages. You might have seen my author portrait pop up, or perhaps you're already familiar with some of my books. 2025 was a landmark year for me, especially after publishing one book a year in 2023 and 2024. This year, I was thrilled to release two new titles: 'Say You Remember Me' in February and 'Wish You Were Mine' in September. 'Say You Remember Me' holds a special place, and I loved bringing that story to life. It’s always exciting to see which characters resonate most with readers! If you haven't picked them up yet, I'd love for you to give them a read and tell me what you think. Looking at my overall book catalog, it's wild to see how much my writing has grown. Even with these new releases, my 2018 novel, 'It Was Always You,' still holds the title for 'Most Paperback Sales' and remains my 'Bestselling Book Overall.' It’s a testament to how some stories just stick with people! Close behind in royalties is 'Her Football Star Ex,' which also dominated 'Most Ebook Sales' and racked up an astounding 2,395,227 Kindle Unlimited page reads. Knowing that so many of you are immersing yourselves in these worlds truly warms my heart. On the writing front, I clocked in 'Approximately 139,000 Words Written' this year. Most of this creative output happened 'from 2pm-6pm in the afternoon,' a routine I've adopted after years of training myself to write efficiently, even after the kids’ nap times ended. It just goes to show that dedication and a solid schedule can really make a difference. I also had the amazing opportunity to attend a writing retreat, which was so inspiring – getting to connect with other authors and brainstorm new ideas is invaluable for my craft. And it wasn't all just about writing! I managed to read '39 books in 2025.' Discovering new stories is such an important part of being a writer myself. I devoured some fantastic reads, like 'The Problematic Theory of Summer' and 'The Housemaid,' which definitely kept me entertained. It's always fun to see what other authors are creating and to find new favorites. So, that’s my 2025 in a nutshell – a year of new releases, beloved bestsellers, dedicated writing, and countless hours lost in amazing books. I'm already looking forward to what 2026 holds!
