Meet Syrena, my retired service dog and the heart of my journey. I rescued her from euthanasia back in 2023, and she’s been my hero ever since. After a traumatic encounter with a fake service dog at Walmart, I made the tough decision to retire her into being just a ESA dog. But even in retirement, Syrena hasn’t stopped being amazing—she still works her magic at home, offering love, comfort, and unwavering support every day. She’s proof that heroes come in all shapes and sizes, and her story is a reminder of the incredible bond between humans and their dogs.
Meet Hazel, my little whirlwind of joy and chaos! I raised her from a puppy, and now she’s on her journey to becoming a service dog, with Syrena as her mentor. Hazel has what I lovingly call her “ADHD child” moments—bursts of pure, unfiltered energy that keep life exciting. But when the chaos settles, she’s the ultimate cuddle bug, making every moment worth it. Watching Syrena teach Hazel the ropes has been heartwarming, and I couldn’t be prouder of my girls. Hazel may be a ball of energy, but she’s also my ray of sunshine and a constant reminder that love comes in all forms—even the chaotic ones!
