Hey I’m Moné!
Figured I should make a post since I’m on here more often now, and want people to know I’m a real person 😂. I’m a 30-something woman trying to live my best life on my terms. I’ve spent so many years living my life for other people, and am finally putting myself first.
I’m on a journey to become a published author and enjoy reading romance stories as much as I love writing them. My debut novel will be coming out next year in April, and I’m so excited to take you along with me as I write, rewrite, and eventually publish this story.
It’s hard putting yourself out there, and I HATE attention on me, but I know I’m meant to be seen and not hide in the shadows like I’ve done most of my life. #Lemon8Diary #introducingmyself #authorsoflemon8
Embarking on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth often involves redefining priorities and cultivating new habits centered on well-being and passion. For many, embracing self-care and wellness is a crucial step to living authentically and overcoming years of living for others. Moné’s story as a 30-something woman highlights the importance of putting oneself first while pursuing creative ambitions such as writing and reading romance novels. Writing is both a craft and an expression of self. Sharing this journey invites readers and followers to connect with the human side of creating literature, fostering a community of support and inspiration. It's also a reminder that behind every published work is a passionate creator who has committed to showing up despite fear or discomfort. In the modern age, hobbies like reading and writing serve as powerful tools for mental health and self-care. Engaging in literary activities helps reduce stress and enhances emotional intelligence. Romance stories, in particular, offer escapism and hope, resonating with readers on an intimate level. Moné’s enthusiasm for these genres underlines the therapeutic value of storytelling for both creators and audiences. For those on similar paths, embracing vulnerability and sharing personal milestones — no matter how challenging — can be empowering.
