It's the inherent conflict and the boundless possibilities they offer. And yes, the spice is unapologetic! I believe romance, even dark romance, should be passionate, visceral, and leave you breathless. It's about celebrating intimacy in all its forms, within the context of a powerful, often dangerous, love story.
