Thrift Book Haul📚

I have been on a roll with the good thrift finds (I need to be stopped)

I have now filled my whole 1st bookshelf and need to buy another book organizer which makes me so happy🥰

I convinced myself the more books I buy the more I would want to read so it will push me to achieve a higher reading goal, is it just me or are any of you like this the same? (Maybe I’m just a shopaholic)

... Read moreThrift shopping for books has become increasingly popular, with many readers seeking eco-friendly and cost-effective ways to expand their collections. If you're new to thrifting, there are a few tips to enhance your experience. First, frequent local thrift stores and estate sales to uncover hidden treasures, often overlooked by others. Always check the condition of the book; a slightly worn cover can often mean a story worth reading! Additionally, organize your purchases based on genres or authors, making it easier to find your next read. In my recent haul, I stumbled upon extraordinary books, including bestselling titles like "Big Magic" by Elizabeth Gilbert and poignant poetry collections like "Bare Roots" by Molly S. Hillery. These finds not only provide exceptional stories but also inspire creativity and reflection among readers. Moreover, you don’t have to rush the process; take your time to explore different sections and discover unexpected gems. Participating in #bookhauls on social media can also help connect with fellow enthusiasts and share your most exciting finds, sparking conversations about books and reading habits. Remember, thrifting isn’t only about quantity; it’s about collecting books that resonate with you personally. Happy thrifting!
