Calling All Beta readers 📖
Hi everyone 🤍
The time has finally come where I have finished my manuscript for my 2nd faith based self-help book!!!!!
I am now in search of beta readers who are passionate about helping indie & self-published authors. As a reader myself, I know how valuable beta readers are and how much they contribute to an authors book launch.
I will be having physical book PR packages as well as sending Earc copies. I am searching for beta readers who are willing to submit honest reviews on such platforms as good reads, Amazon, bookagram, tik tok or any where you do book reviews.
Who will be the perfect reader for this book? If you are a follower of Jesus, if you are curious about faith & learning more about God, if you are a self-development junkie and love to cultivate new ways to level up in your personal growth journey.
Alittle further information about the book structure:
Navigating The Divine Path to Happiness is broken into three parts:
Part One: Principles and Values
In this chapter readers will dive deep into discovering what is the source of true happiness? How to develop self-control, and how to detox their life to cleanse their soul.
Part Two: Overcoming Limiting Beliefs
In this chapter readers unmask negative thinking patterns and how to shift their mindsets. Readers will gain knowledge of the impact of setting boundaries in their life, readers also will gain insight and understanding of the peace of God & how crucial prioritizing peace in their life is. In this chapter readers also dive deep into self-esteem, discovering their identity in Christ, and learning how to develop self-love and acceptance.
Part Three: The Essence of Transformation
This chapter takes readers on a journey uncovering people pleasing tendencies and teaches readers to focus on following the ways of Jesus. It also gives valuable insight on how God puts us through a pruning and refining process, but how he works It all out for the good. Another topic will be discussing in this chapter is how God creates every individual for a specific purpose and provides practical ways reader can discover what their purpose is. To close out this chapter we tie It all up with the intersection of faith where faith meets true personal development.
This book also offers multiple journal prompts for readers to dig deep and take notes along the way ✍🏼

As an author, I've learned firsthand how absolutely vital beta readers are to bringing a book to life. It's truly a collaborative journey, and that's exactly why I'm so excited about finding ARC readers for 'Navigating The Divine Path To Happiness'. When I first started writing, I thought editing was just about grammar, but beta readers taught me so much more about connecting with my audience. Your fresh eyes catch things I, as the author, might completely miss after staring at the manuscript for months. It’s not just about finding typos; it’s about understanding if the message resonates, if the characters are believable, and if the story flows. For a faith-based self-help book like mine, it’s crucial to know if the spiritual insights are clear and impactful, and if the practical advice truly helps readers. This is where the magic of beta reader feedback truly shines! So, what kind of insights are most helpful? When you're providing feedback, consider these points, which often form the basis of a thorough beta reader feedback form: Overall Impression: Did the book hold your interest? What were your immediate thoughts after finishing each section? Did it inspire you or make you think differently? Clarity and Understanding: Were there any parts that felt confusing or unclear? Did the concepts in Part One: Principles and Values, or Part Two: Overcoming Limiting Beliefs, make sense? Was the flow from one idea to the next logical? Emotional Impact: Did the book evoke any strong emotions? Were there moments that particularly resonated with you? Did the stories or examples feel authentic? Pacing: Did the book feel too fast or too slow at any point? Were there sections you wanted more of, or less of? Structure and Organization: Did the division into parts like 'The Essence of Transformation' make sense? Did the journal prompts feel well-integrated and useful? Target Audience: Do you think this book would appeal to others curious about faith and personal growth, as intended? Strengths & Weaknesses: What did you love most? What areas do you think could be strengthened? Be honest, but always constructive! When you're diving into a book as a beta reader, remember you're not just reading for pleasure; you're reading with a critical, yet empathetic, eye. Try to read as if you were the target audience. Don't worry about fixing every comma; authors have editors for that! Instead, focus on the big picture. What's working? What's not? How does it make you feel? Jot down notes as you go – even simple sticky notes or highlights can be incredibly valuable. Thinking about what a beta reader feedback form might ask can guide your thoughts. Often, authors are looking for honest reactions to the overall experience and specific elements, rather than just grammatical corrections. Your insights are literally helping to shape the final version of 'Navigating The Divine Path To Happiness' and ensure it offers the most value to future readers. Being an ARC reader is a truly special role, and I deeply appreciate anyone willing to embark on this journey with me. It’s an amazing way to contribute to a book before anyone else sees it!
