This is surreal…
9 years ago I was writing about my life journey and coming to my faith in a journal. There was
dark secrets & heartaches written in there.. one day I heard God tell me to turn It into a book. I had no knowledge of book writing or the process but I obeyed. I written my first book Flowers Grow Out of My Grave. Then I was called to write another.. a poetry collection of heartache, relationship trauma, & Gods healing power.
Jump forward to 2021 when I felt God put a third book project on my heart. The season I was walking through was heavy.. I was just coming back to the Lord after 2 years of wandering and being lost. I had no idea what God was going to create through me with this book.
Now that the book is written, I read back and can whole heartedly say- This book was written by the power of the Holy Spirit. It astonishes me to reread the words that I typed because I couldn’t even tell you how profound so many of the teachings are in this book. I 100% say this book is all God and none of me. I am just another vessel he chose to advance his kingdom.
This book wasn’t written for the perfect Christian, but the ones who feel lost, the ones who have so many questions, the ones who want to grow closer to God but don’t know how to. This book is for the one- not the thousands or millions but the ONE.
Because I was the one and God chased after me! And I whole heartedly feel he is calling many of you. He has a divine purpose for your life despite what you had to endure, despite the walk you currently on.
God wants to meet you in your brokenness and pour out his grace unto you. Romans 8:39 tells us “Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
