King Nantabureng, or Hongkagisayang, was a young King Hong from the Tongu Dynasty, who reigned from 1581 to 1599. His reign was the period of the collapse of the Tongu Dynasty, the greatest kingdom in the history of Usa Nay.
He was his great son in the Lord Burenan, and led many battles in the expansion of his father's empire. When he was king, he faced the burden of being a great kingdom that his father had endured, and he did not have the support of the prince when he reigned for only three years. Both Upper Burma and Sriyutthaya froze. He was unable to meet more than a third of his father's army to defeat him, nor was he able to reconcile with the small city from 1584 to 1584. In 1593, he launched five battles against Ayutthaya, which were defeated each time, weakening his authority, and since 1593, he has been the one to mount invasions from Ayutthaya, where, between 1594 and 1595, Ayutthaya was able to capture the entire coast of Tanawsri, resulting in the destruction of other nations from him in 1597, later in 1595. In 1599, a mixed army from Toungoo and Rakhine invaded the girl Dee. He was taken prisoner to Toungoo, and the girl Dee was plundered and burned to the end a year later. Nachin Nong, the son of Mengyeatu II of Toungoo, poisoned him to death.
He was such an active monarch that he could be considered more than a typical Burmese monarch, but one of his mistakes was to try to control the vast empire under patrilineal ties, thus providing a lesson to his successors in the 17th century not to expand the territory unduly and to emphasize centralized governance. This lesson also prompted the reform of governance during the revival of the Tongu Dynasty and further improvement during the Kongbon Dynasty. This reform lasted until the end of the Burmese monarchy in 1885.
