Pros/Cons being a Medical Assistant
Happy April ☀️
There are 2 sides to everything. I don’t want to only share the positives and make anyone think for 1 second that it’s all sunshine and rainbows with no negatives. There are 2 sides to every coin. 3 Pros/Cons each I find below.
PROS
1) Helping people
2)Learning new skills
3)Many job opportunities
CONS
1) Long Hours
2) Busy & Stressful
3) Dealing with sick people
I can expand on these but it’s pretty simple. Now that I know what I know that’s why things are supposed to be. In my past younger years my cons over rode my pros, because I felt in order to “prove myself to God or serve people” that meant putting myself last and it’s simply just not the case. The load should feel light.

Medical assistants often face long hours and, at times, stressful situations, especially in busy clinics or hospitals. It's essential to find a balance between serving patients and taking care of oneself. Understanding these aspects can help potential medical assistants make informed decisions about their career paths and prepare for the realities of the job.
