MY #1 TIP FOR NEW MOMS

I feel like I have cracked the witching hour code with this one guys 😂

I met my best mom friend from a mom group (there are a ton on Facebook) and our babies are the same age which has been so nice!

In the beginning we would schedule get-togethers at whatever time was most convenient after naps etc (which we still do for public outings) but the older they got the more they needed to be stimulated and entertained. We both would text chatting about our witching hours were going and then one day we were like you know what- why don’t we just brave those last couple hours before bedtime together so they can have a little extra stimulation and so we can help each other out?

And let me tell you guys, it has been THE BEST thing EVER!! I wish we started doing this earlier on- it makes that difficult time not only easier but actually so much fun! We go on walks, make dinner together, help the other with random chores, the works!

Our husbands both work long hours, so it’s been great to have some help and company. Plus the babies love seeing each other and playing sooo much- they are the sweetest little buddies 🫶🏼

... Read moreNavigating the early days of motherhood can be overwhelming, but building a support system can significantly ease the burden. Many new moms face what is often termed the 'witching hour,' a time when babies become fussy and restless, often leading to stress for parents. One effective solution is creating a playdate with another mom friend during this time. This not only provides an opportunity for your baby to engage socially and burn off energy but also allows moms to share the workload and emotional support. Consider joining local mom groups or community forums, which can be highly beneficial. Many mothers find lasting friendships and support systems through Facebook groups or local meet-ups. Participating in these networks helps new moms feel less isolated, and encourages collaborative approaches to parenting challenges. In addition to playdates, moms can exchange tips on managing schedules and baby routines, thus making it easier to navigate common parenting hurdles. Sharing responsibilities like meal prep or chores during playdates can foster a sense of community and teamwork, making those difficult evening hours much more manageable. So if you're navigating motherhood, don't hesitate to reach out to fellow moms—you might just find the support and fun you've been looking for!
