COLLEGE GIRL NIGHTTIME ROUTINE🫧💅🧼
Here’s my nighttime routine as a college student!
I first wash my face & follow up with toner. In the morning I just use my hands to apply toner but at night I use a cotton pad.
I then use hyaluronic acid, wait for it to dry, and then an eye serum. I finish with moisturizer and then seal it all together with an overnight collagen mask!!
I then floss, mouthwash, and brush my teeth (in that order) and I’m good to go!!

Hey everyone! As a college student, I totally get how hectic life can be. Between classes, studying, and social events, it's easy to let self-care slide. But trust me, having a consistent nighttime routine is a game-changer, especially if you're aiming for that 'overnight glow up before school' feeling! I wanted to share a bit more about my personal journey and some extra tips I've picked up to make my 'school night time routine' really work for me, ensuring my 'college skin care' stays on point. My basic routine is outlined above, but let's dive a little deeper into why each step is so crucial for a true 'nighttime beauty regimen.' When I first started my routine, I realized that simply washing my face wasn't enough. The first step is always to wash face thoroughly to remove makeup, dirt, and daily grime. I've found that a gentle, hydrating cleanser works best for avoiding that tight, dry feeling. After cleansing, I use a toner to balance my skin's pH and prep it for the next steps. Using a cotton pad at night really helps ensure all traces of impurities are gone, which I think makes a huge difference in how my skin absorbs products. Next up, for that deep hydration and plumpness, Hyaluronic acid is my absolute holy grail. I apply it to slightly damp skin, then wait a moment for it to really sink in. This step is key for keeping skin hydrated overnight, which is essential for any 'how to glow up overnight for school' strategy! And let's not forget the delicate area around our eyes. A good eye serum helps tackle puffiness and dark circles, especially after late-night study sessions. I gently pat it in with my ring finger. Following these serums, a nourishing moisturizer is a must to lock in all that goodness. I prefer a richer cream at night than I use in the morning. And for the ultimate boost? An overnight collagen mask! This step has seriously transformed my skin, making it feel incredibly soft and looking more refreshed by morning. It's like giving your skin an extra drink while you sleep. Beyond skincare, don't underestimate the power of oral hygiene for feeling truly fresh. My routine of floss, mouthwash, and then brushing teeth ensures I wake up with a clean mouth and fresh breath. It’s a small detail, but it contributes so much to feeling put-together and ready to face the day, even after an 'after college evening routine' that might have been a bit rushed. A few extra tips for my fellow college students: Consistency is Key: It might feel like a lot at first, but sticking to your routine, even for 10-15 minutes, makes a huge difference. Listen to Your Skin: Some nights your skin might need more hydration, others less. Adjust accordingly. Hydrate Internally: Drinking plenty of water throughout the day also contributes to glowing skin. Pillowcases: Changing your pillowcase regularly helps prevent breakouts. Wind Down: Incorporate a few minutes of winding down before bed (no screens!) to improve sleep quality, which is vital for skin repair and that natural glow. This comprehensive approach ensures that not only is my skin benefiting, but my overall well-being is too. It's about more than just products; it's about creating a ritual that helps you de-stress and prepare for a new day. Hope these extra insights help you achieve your best 'glow up' while navigating college life!
