COLLEGE LIVING ROOM INSPO🛋️🕯️🌆🪴
Cute new inspo to decorate your living room!✨
🪑cute seating is such a nice way to fill space but also decorate your living room. Having lots of seating options is also super useful if you like to host!
🕯️I LOVE LOVE LOVE candles! They give such a nice ambiance (and smell). Candles are also good for table fillers, as well as coasters! I got these cute colorful evil eye coasters that go with the color theme of the room.
🪴Plants are also a nice way to add a pop of color & make the room more lively. I love my hanging plants, they make the room feel more cozy but clean?
🪟Having good window treatments can make or break a room. When I moved into my house, we didn’t have any curtains and our house felt too out in the open and not cozy. Curtains provide great privacy but can also act as decoration.
🧺Throw blankets are another way to add color to the room & are needed for cozy movie nights!
🖼️Pictures can really help make the room your own and they also take up wall space. The pictures don’t even have to be of you, but just for decor! I also bought an LED light for the wall to not only fill it up but create a fun vibe at night time.
🍾The bar cart is my favorite part of the living room! It’s such a cute little area & is always being used! A necessity for college.

When designing your college living space, incorporating versatile elements can enhance both style and utility. Start with seating options such as bean bags or stylish floor cushions, which serve as great seating alternatives and are easy to relocate. Consider adding multi-functional furniture, like ottomans that double as storage, to optimize space. Candles, with their warm glow and delightful scents, can be a focal point in your decor. Use candle holders that reflect your style, from modern metals to rustic wood, ensuring they complement thread colors around the room. In addition to providing a cozy atmosphere, carefully chosen window treatments, such as blackout curtains or sheer drapes, can help control light while enhancing privacy and aesthetics as well. To infuse life into your living room, incorporate a few easy-to-care-for plants. Succulents or snake plants are perfect for beginners, requiring minimal maintenance while adding a fresh, inviting touch. Wall art is another great way to express your personality; consider a gallery wall with prints, posters, or DIY art projects. Hang LED lights along the walls for a playful ambiance during evening gatherings. Last but not least, a well-stocked bar cart can be the highlight of your living room. Organize your favorite drinks and stylish glassware to create a designated space for entertaining friends. The right decor can elevate your college living area, making it a personal haven and a space where memories are made.
