MARVEL BOOTH - NY Comic Con ‘25 🕷️
Mary Jane & Peter Parker at NY Comic Con!
We took some opportunities to get some cute shots and the photo spots ❤️
Hey everyone! If you're like us and absolutely love combining your passion for comics with some adorable couple time, then NY Comic Con is definitely the place to be! We had such a blast last year, rocking our Mary Jane and Peter Parker cosplay, and I wanted to share some tips we picked up for making the most of your experience, especially if you're aiming for those picture-perfect moments. First off, choosing your cosplay is half the fun! We went with Mary Jane and Peter Parker because we adore their dynamic, and it's super recognizable. When you're picking a duo, think about characters whose personalities you can really embody. Comfort is key too – you'll be doing a lot of walking around the Javits Center, so make sure your costumes are practical. We saw so many amazing outfits, from intricate superhero suits to clever mashups, and even some folks with a cool 'Spider-Man t-shirt' twist on their look! One of our favorite things about Comic Con is finding all the incredible photo spots. The Marvel booth, in particular, was absolutely fantastic. They always have these massive, eye-catching displays, like the huge red 'MARVEL' logo display we posed in front of, and cutouts of characters like Spider-Man and Daredevil. We even found a 'MARVEL ANIMATION MARVEL ZOMBIES' display that was super cool and unique for some spookier shots! Don't be afraid to queue up for these official spots; the lighting is usually great, and they often have staff to help with photos. But also keep an eye out for unexpected backdrops. Sometimes the simplest wall or even a distant 'Daryl Dixon banner' can create a unique vibe. Beyond the official booths, the entire convention floor is a photographer's dream. Look for areas with good natural light near windows, or quieter corners away from the main thoroughfares. We always try to scout out locations while we're walking between panels or shopping. Don't forget to interact with other cosplayers! Everyone is usually super friendly and happy to pose together. It's all part of the community spirit. Another tip: plan your day around your photo goals. If you want to catch specific characters or backdrops, check the con schedule and map beforehand. We found that going early in the morning or later in the afternoon helped us avoid the biggest crowds at popular spots. And always have a portable charger for your phone or camera – you'll be snapping pictures all day! Finally, remember to just soak it all in. Comic Con is an incredible experience, whether you're a seasoned attendee or a first-timer. It's about celebrating your fandom, meeting fellow enthusiasts, and creating memories. Our Mary Jane and Peter Parker adventure at the Marvel booth was definitely one for the books, and we can't wait to see what NY Comic Con '25 brings!
