What’s your learning style? 📚

Your learning style can explain why certain concepts can come easy to you or why their harder, along with providing you with tips and ideas for improving your studying. It shows unique prefrences each person has while learning. Understanding this about yourself will help create an effective learning environment. There are four learning styles, which include:

Visual - These learners are defined as retaining information most effectively by using images, such as charts, diagrams, or graphs, rather than more hands one activities or listening to a lecture.

Reading/Writing - These learners prefer to read words instead of looking at pictures. They learn best by writing any information down and using note-taking to understand information (VARK)#.

Auditory - These learners learn the best by listening to something spoken to them, instead of hands-on or visual ideas. They like talking things out to further understand information.

Kinesthetic - These learners learn by doing something instead of listening to or being given information (VARK). These learners like demonstrations, models, experiments, or any other situation they can “learn by doing.”

When we look at examples, we can see that learning isn’t a one-size-fits-all concept. I even consider a mixture of these learning styles myself. However, this can help you feel more confident and successful in academics.
