CURLY GIRLS HELP!!
so i recently found out that i have curly (ish) hair, and i want to learn how to bring my natural curl out more!
right now my routine looks like this
1. lightly scrunch hair with a towel post shower
2. scrunch with microfiber wash cloth once i get to my room
3. curling cream through my hair and scrunch
4. scrunch with mousse
5. diffuse
the video above is my curly hair after around 6 hours of doing my routine. the back tends to really come loose (unless i just miss it which is very possible) really fast and my front pieces tend to stay pretty well.
i'm open to literally any advice, thanks queens!!🫶🏻🫶🏻

Curly hair can be a source of pride and beauty, but it also requires the right care and techniques to look its best. For those new to embracing their curls, beginning with a good washing routine is essential. Consider using sulfate-free shampoos and rich conditioners to nourish your hair without stripping it of its natural oils. After washing, applying a leave-in conditioner can help maintain moisture. Incorporate curl-enhancing products like gels or creams that define and hold your curls without making them crunchy. A diffusing technique can help minimize frizz while maximizing curl volume. Additionally, try the 'plopping' method: after applying your products, gently scrunch your hair into an old T-shirt to enhance curl formation. If second-day hair is an issue, consider refreshing your curls with a light mist of water or a curl reactivating spray, which can bring life back to your hair without the need for a full wash. Lastly, don’t forget the importance of regular trimming to keep your curls looking healthy and bouncy. Celebrate your unique curls by experimenting with different styles and products until you find what works best for you!
