Get to know me!

Hi everyone! I’m Ava and I’m currently 20 years old and am studying Human Services, I plan to work as a social worker in elementary schools and potentially private practice. I’m very new to this app, but I thought after seeing so many of my favorite creators, some friends, and a little inspo from tiktok, it felt worth a shot! Skincare and beauty has always been an important part of my life, my momma is a makeup artist and I grew up watching her do models makeup, teach me about skincare and provided me with the right tools so I knew how to feel comfortable in my own skin IF I decided to wear it one day… truly the best and most beautiful momma ever 🫶🏻

I just moved into a brand new apartment with my younger sister for college, she is just now entering her first year of college and we have had total creative freedom over this apartment so far. I’m so excited to share the process and receive any tips from other apartment renters/owners!!🤗 Advice is always welcome, please be polite. I love to thrift, and have thrifted a majority of my decor pieces as well as HALF of my closet. We also have two little sibling cats, Charlie and Cece who turn two in July, and an 11 year old Pomeranian (Our childhood dog) named Sophie who has been my entire life thus far lol.

Meeting my boyfriend has opened a door to finding new hobbies and also a better relationship with myself as a whole. He supports me in everything I do, and I try to return the favor by always paying attention to little things he enjoys, and planning dates or gifts around that. Men like to feel appreciated too ladies!!!! That being said, every week my boyfriend and I switch off making dinner for eachother, as well as each planning at least one date a week whether it’s at home, costs money, or is an outdoor activity :)

I turn 21 this summer, I’m so excited to document my life and the process leading up to it through this app. I’m genuinely NOT a big party person, so having a little anxiety for my 21st I feel is normal right lol?

I am in no way an influencer, and honestly I’m not trying to be. This app is more for me and my mental health than anything else and I truly hope if you do stick around you’ll enjoy what I post! I am a huge advocate for mental health, dealing with anxiety and depression isn’t an easy thing, but when you try new things you’re scared of, talk about your own struggles and offer support to others you’ll begin to see that everyone else is going through something that may be hard to deal with too. We are all human ❤️
