My journey to self love and inner peace
Liberated from the Weight of Others Opinions 💁♀️
I've reached a point where things that used to hurt me just don't have the same effect anymore. It's like I've built up a shield, and the negative words or actions just bounce right off. I'm not sure if it's because I've learned to let go, or if I've just become numb to it all. Either way, it's freeing.
I still remember the days when a careless comment from a friend or family member could ruin my entire week. The words would sting, and I'd replay them over and over in my head, wondering what I did wrong and how I could've avoided the hurt. But as time went on, I realized that I was giving others the power to define my self-worth.
Now, when faced with negativity, I remind myself that it's not about me; it's about the other person's struggles. I've learned to rise above the drama and prioritize my own happiness.
It's liberating to be free from the weight of others' opinions. I've realized that my worth isn't defined by external validation, but by my own self-love and acceptance. 💖 I'm not perfect, and I still have moments of doubt, but I'm working on being kinder to myself and celebrating my strengths.
I'm focusing on doing things that make me happy, and that's all that matters. Whether it's spending time with loved ones, pursuing my passions, or simply taking care of myself, I'm prioritizing my own well-being. 🌞 It's amazing how much lighter I feel when I'm not weighed down by other people's drama.
I'm not saying I'm impervious to hurt, but I've learned to rise above it. I've realized that their words or actions don't define me; my own happiness and self-love do. 💖 So, I'm keeping on doing me, and loving every minute of it! 💃 What's helping you rise above the negativity in your life?
