Is positivity turning toxic?
I used to think positivity meant strength. That if I just stayed upbeat, I could outrun whatever I was feeling.
But that version of “positivity” started to feel fake — like a mask I couldn’t take off.
The truth is, not every season needs a silver lining. Sometimes you just need to sit in the mess and trust that it won’t last forever.
Real healing isn’t about pretending it’s all fine, it’s about giving yourself permission to not be okay for a while.
Because positivity isn’t always peace. Sometimes peace is finally saying, “This hurts, and that’s okay.”
