The Root of my American Identity ✨

The Root of my American identity is older than the Constitution and it’s 3/5 of a person clause, Amendments, the Articles of Confederation and the Atlantic slave trade that ensnared so many of my West African kin! And yet from that 🔥 under the cauldron of forced migration, exploration, Spanish colonialism and its gradual capitulation to slavery system, my Hadza, Luhay , Andean, Mayan, Amazonia and Latin America peoples of Brazil, Ecuador, Espana& Portugal and Scandinavian ancestors formed formed the root of my PAN-American soul & familia. They ALL are part of me✨
