Perfume mist recommendations

First time trying Scentual fragrances brand. These two perfume mist are long lasting and really should be called just perfume 🤗.

Mirage of Her is inspired by Valaya by Parfums De Marly, definitely perfect for brunch and date night. Gives boss energy and very feminine.Got compliments on this one. Longevity is 9/10

Forbidden Apple is inspired by Angels' Share by Kilian, this fragrance was classified as unisex, probably due to the cognac fragrance note. If you are a Tonka bean girly like myself you will love this one. This is definitely a night time, fall/winter fragrance. Longevity 10/10

... Read moreOkay, so I've been completely blown away by these Scentual perfume mists, and I just had to share more about why they've become my new obsession. When I first heard 'perfume mist,' I honestly expected something light that would vanish in an hour, like a typical body spray. But trust me, these are in a league of their own – they truly perform like full-fledged perfumes! Let's dive deeper into 'Mirage of Her.' If you're someone who loves a fresh, sophisticated, and slightly green floral scent, you absolutely need to try this. It's inspired by Valaya, and it captures that elegant, clean yet assertive vibe perfectly. Imagine walking into a room and exuding confidence – that's 'Mirage of Her.' The notes are just incredible: bright mandarin and bergamot give it an initial sparkling lift, while the heart unfolds with delicate white peach, sweet orange blossom, and ethereal lily of the valley. But what truly sets it apart for me is the base, featuring creamy vanilla, warm ambroxan, soft musk, and that unique, slightly peppery, woody note of akigalawood. This combination gives it such a modern, long-lasting sophistication that makes it perfect not just for brunch, but for a power meeting or an evening out where you want to make a statement. I've found it gets me compliments every single time! Then there's 'Forbidden Apple,' which is a whole other experience. If you're a gourmand lover or just adore warm, boozy scents, this one is for you. Inspired by Angels' Share, it’s a cozy hug in a bottle, making it my absolute favorite for those chilly fall and winter nights. The opening burst of rich cognac and warm cinnamon is just intoxicating. As it settles, you get that deep, creamy sweetness from tonka bean – seriously, if you're a tonka bean girly like me, you'll be obsessed! The complexity comes from notes of earthy oak, decadent praline, smooth vanilla, and a grounding touch of sandalwood. It's classified as unisex, and I totally get why; the cognac note gives it a refined edge that anyone could pull off. It's perfect for a cozy night in, a romantic dinner, or even just when you want to feel wrapped in warmth. Now, you might be wondering, 'Where do I even find these amazing Scentual fragrances?' From my experience, Scentual often operates through their official website or sometimes through online beauty retailers and independent boutiques. A quick search for 'Scentual fragrances where to buy' usually points you in the right direction. Their appeal is definitely in offering high-quality, long-lasting alternatives to luxury perfumes without breaking the bank. For those of you who might be searching for something like 'bbw forbidden fruit' or 'forbidden rose' and stumbled upon this, while 'Forbidden Apple' isn't directly related to those, it shares that intriguing, slightly mysterious 'forbidden' theme with a gourmand twist. If you love sweet, spicy, and unique fruity-gourmand combinations, 'Forbidden Apple' could be a surprising new favorite! And for making your perfume mists last even longer, here’s my little trick: apply them right after a shower when your skin is still a bit damp, or over an unscented lotion. This helps the fragrance molecules adhere better, giving you even more incredible longevity. These Scentual mists truly challenge the idea that you need to spend a fortune for a luxurious and long-lasting scent experience. They're definitely a must-have in my fragrance wardrobe!
