Life lessons i learned the hard way

I want to share some things i learned in hopes that it helps someone somewhere :)

1) Do Not dwell on the small things.

I am someone who stresses about every little thing. Sometimes i stress to the point that I make myself sick. I know this is not okay and here recently i have realized that i can not dwell on the small things that will not effect me in a year, or maybe even a week. This has helped me a lot as someone who has a brain that is wired to stress about everything. ♡

2) Don’t waste your energy with someone who dose not give what you give. This goes for friendships, family meets, boyfriends, or anyone!

It is emotionally draining when you are giving all you can give to a person who will not give a quarter of what you are putting in the relationship. It hurts having to cut people off, or take a step back. I have had many friendships where i would do everything for the other person and would not get anything back in return, and as I’ve gotten more mature, it has dawned on me that you don’t have to stay in that position.

3) Your happiness should come first.

I am a people pleaser. I try to make everyone happy and the biggest pill for me to swallow was that I can not make everyone happy. I was trying to make everyone happy and it was bringing me down mentally.

4) It is okay to fail.

I used to beat myself up every time I failed. Then After years and Years Of being to hard on myself I stepped back and looked at the bigger picture Life was trying to show me: To sudsed you have to fail. Failing teaches you what you need to get better and succeed. Weather it is classes, or sports if you fail get up and take what you learned and go conquer what you are doing.

5) Never be ashamed of who you are.

you are who you are and that is beautiful. Something to think about is there is no one else on this earth that is you. So no matter what you do do what makes you happy because at the end of the day we are just trying to figure out who we are, and make it through this confusing, hard, short life we have. So love yourself and appreciate who you are :)

I hope these lesson I learned can help someone, I would love to hear your life lessons. Who knows maybe they might save someone ♡

Heart shaped kisses 🖤

... Read moreLife is a continuous learning experience, and often, we come to important realizations through challenges and hardships. Reflecting on personal experiences, we can identify key lessons that resonate universally. For instance, understanding that not everything deserves our concern can significantly reduce stress levels. Focusing on what truly matters allows us to conserve emotional energy, enabling better responses to impactful situations. Interpersonal relationships often serve as fertile ground for growth. It's vital to recognize when to step back from those who do not reciprocate our efforts. Maintaining healthy relationships enhances well-being, fostering environments where mutual support thrives. This leads to the essential lesson of prioritizing one's happiness and mental health above the need to please everyone. Embracing self-care creates a positive ripple effect in our lives. Another perspective is growing from failure. Understanding that setbacks are part of the journey teaches resilience. Instead of fearing failure, view it as an opportunity for learning and improvement. Each failure provides invaluable lessons that contribute to future successes, empowering individuals to rise after challenges. Lastly, embracing one's uniqueness is crucial. There is great strength in authenticity; loving who you are fosters confidence and happiness. Celebrate your individuality instead of conforming to societal pressures, as this self-acceptance is fundamental in navigating through life's complexities. These lessons aren't merely personal reflections but can resonate deeply with anyone facing life's uncertainties. Sharing experiences can encourage others to reflect on their journeys, creating a supportive community of growth and understanding.
