Did i grow up? or glow up?
I feel like I still look somewhat similar to how I did when I was younger. Back then, I felt very uncomfortable in my own skin, but since reaching my senior year and beyond, I’ve grown more comfortable and confident. Personally, I think I’ve had a glow-up and have also grown into my looks.

The concept of a 'glow-up' has gained significant attention in recent years, highlighting transformations in appearance, confidence, and self-acceptance. Many individuals experience a glow-up during their high school years, often marked by personal growth and changing perceptions of beauty. Social media platforms play a pivotal role in nurturing these transformations, inspiring users to share their before-and-after journeys. These shared experiences resonate with those who may struggle with self-image, showcasing that progress is possible at any stage of life. Moreover, discussions on aging and self-acceptance emphasize that beauty is subjective and can be redefined through personal growth and self-care practices. The power of community support, illustrated by hashtags like #glowup and #embraceyourglow, encourages individuals to celebrate their unique paths and acknowledge progress, helping dismantle societal beauty standards in the process.
