How a high Fiber diet is actually better for you.

since starting 6 different medications and my doctor being concerned about my cholesterol. (genetically, I wasn't given a good chance) I need to start a high fiber diet. My stomach has not been happy with me since being on all these meds.

I went grocery shopping yesterday and found some things that were fairly cheap (coupons) Being on a diet does NOT mean you have to give up everything you love.

however did you know, you only need about 20-30g or fiber a day to lower cholesterol? Fiber causes the cholestrol to not be absorbed into the bloodstream, which then comes out in the bathroom

so here's breakfast! I wanted something sweet. 😊

Special K chocolate craving (no milk for me. milk wont change the fiber content for this) has about 3g of fiber per 1 cup serving.

Great Value fiber brownie bars are literally to die for. I had 3 yesterday and at 5g of fiber per bar they are PERFECT for a quick grab. 👌🏻 I could eat these all day and be content.

The Yoplait did not mention any fiber, but I wanted it to breakup all the chocolate.
