Here are some key strategies to include in your bedtime routine. 1. **Create a Sleep Schedule:** Going to bed and waking up at the same time every day helps regulate your body clock, making it easier to fall asleep. Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep each night. 2. **Optimize Your Sleep Environment:** Ensure your bedroom is dark, cool, and quiet. Consider using blackout curtains, earplugs, or white noise machines to enhance your sleep environment. 3. **Limit Exposure to Screens:** Blue light emitted from phones and laptops can interfere with melatonin production. Try to limit screen time at least an hour before bed. 4. **Relaxation Techniques:** Develop a pre-sleep routine that may include deep breathing exercises or meditation to unwind. Practices such as yoga or stretching can also promote relaxation. 5. **Nutrition Choices:** Be mindful of what you eat and drink before bed. Avoid heavy meals, caffeine, and alcohol close to bedtime, and consider a light snack if you're hungry. 6. **Exercise Regularly:** Incorporating physical activity into your daily routine can help regulate sleep patterns. However, try to avoid vigorous exercise right before bedtime. Incorporating these practices into your daily life can help you achieve a more restful and restorative sleep, preparing you for the challenges of college life.

I can’t get sleep until almost midnight. Do you recommend anything to help me sleep earlier?
