calling all mandopop loversss 🎶 >>
this place is definitely a must visit !!!
as someone who’s a huge chinese-pop fan, we absolutely LOVED this place
upon entering, every visitor is given a wired headset with an audio guide player 🎧 the audio guide is available in 4 different languages - Mandarin , English , Japanese & Korean. It is narrated by different artists , making the experience even more special 🥹
the exhibition is split into different sections, and the audio guide automatically syncs to the next narration as you walk through the exhibition 👀
it honestly made the whole experience feel so immersive, like someone was bringing you through the history of taiwan’s music scene!
throughout the exhibition, you’ll get to see:
🎙️ vintage recording studios
📻 broadcasting rooms
📼 cassette tapes & vinyl collections
💿 iconic albums
🎶 music production equipment
📝 handwritten lyrics & music scores
there are alot more of these aesthetic photo spots throughout the exhibition!! 📸✨
seeing all these iconic albums & handwritten lyrics felt like taking a trip down memory lane 😭
🎤 our favourite part was definitely the ending!!
the exhibition ends with an immersive virtual concert experience 🤍
the featured artist changes according to the schedule, so do check online before visiting!
when we visited, it was 告五人 (Accusefive) 🥹
unfortunately, photos & videos aren’t allowed inside due to the regulations, but honestly… it really felt like attending a real concert 😭
the lights, visuals and sound system were SO good!!
we spent about 2 hours here and honestly didn’t even realise how fast time passed.
✨ highly recommend visiting if you’re a mandopop lover, or if you’re looking for something different from the usual shopping & night markets!!
