Using what I have 🫶🏻
Just moved to Texas about 3 weeks ago and my jewelry was a hot mess cause I am still unpacking. Do you ever stop unpacking lol? I was looking for my jewelry organizer in the boxes and I finally found it. I like using seashells that I have gotten from my beach vacations as an organizer.
I do want to find a jewelry organizer that can fit everything but I want to save money and use what I have!
Some places I have gotten my jewelry:
- TJ Maxx
- Amazon
- Fossil
- Kate Spade
- Costco
- Old Navy
I do I want to start getting more rings so if you have any recommendations let me know!
I want to start supporting small businesses more!!
When I first moved to a new place, I totally related to the chaos of unpacking, especially with jewelry that tends to get tangled or misplaced. One tip I’d love to share from my own experience is using natural objects like seashells, which not only provide a charming way to organize rings and earrings but also add a personal, decorative touch. It’s a great cost-saving solution since you don’t have to buy new organizers immediately. Beyond seashells, I've found that repurposing other household items—like small bowls, ice cube trays, or even old candle holders—can be surprisingly effective for sorting different types of jewelry. This approach not only keeps things tidy but also reduces clutter and helps you rediscover your collections. Shopping for jewelry on a budget? Stores like TJ Maxx, Amazon, and Costco offer a wide variety of styles that can fit different tastes without breaking the bank. I’ve also started focusing on supporting small businesses, which often present unique handmade pieces and help local artisans thrive. If you’re looking to expand your ring collection, consider checking out local craft fairs or Etsy, where small sellers showcase original designs. Rings from these sources can be more meaningful and customizable compared to big-box retailers. Lastly, organization is an ongoing process when moving. I keep reminding myself that unpacking is not a race; using what I have and gradually upgrading my jewelry storage has made the transition smoother and more enjoyable. Hopefully, these ideas help you turn your jewelry chaos into a beautiful, budget-friendly setup!
