I bought a new car! 😍

It’s a 2013 Dodge Avenger who I named Toni (play off of Tony Stark)

It’s got Apple car play, under glow lights, a $500 subwoofer, added leather seats and decals and a NEW TRANSMISSION!

Paid $3k cash!

I honestly can’t stand the trend “I pay $800+ a month bc I wanted apple car play #imjustagirl “ BS. Talk about financially irresponsible 🤢 for the girls who CAN afford it, Awesome! But most girl are going broke bc they wanna “flex” and that’s so sad to me.

I’m proud to say I got a beater car 😌 I do have to put in about $1,100 of maintenance and it’s just ball bearing issues that has to be fixed and fluids to be topped (which I can do myself)

... Read moreIn recent years, owning a reliable used car has become a practical choice for many, especially for those looking to avoid hefty monthly payments. The 2013 Dodge Avenger is a popular option due to its affordability and decent features. With technological updates like Apple CarPlay, newer models provide great connectivity for drivers. However, maintaining older cars may require some upfront costs, like the $1,100 maintenance mentioned for fixing ball bearing issues. Research shows many individuals prefer lower-cost options to avoid financial strain while still enjoying the benefits of a vehicle. Moreover, it’s essential to balance functionality with financial prudence, ensuring that car ownership doesn't lead to unnecessary debt. For those interested in customizing their vehicles, accessories such as subwoofers and under-glow lighting can enhance the driving experience without breaking the bank. Remember, it’s always good to invest in what you can maintain and love, rather than succumbing to trends that often lead to financial stress. Be proud of your choices, whether it's a new car or a reliable beater that represents your hard-earned success.

I Traded My 2021 Hyundai Elantra In Because The Warranty Was Running Out (CRIEDDDD LIKE A BABY, LITERALLY!). At The End Of It All, I Ended Up Better Than I Was With The 21’ . I Ended Up Getting A 2025 Hyundai Elantra Sport, The 1st Owner(Ripped The Plastic Off, Literally) Found Out My Credit Was 823 So I Ended Up Not Having To Put Nothing Down, Payment Stayed The Same, $500 (BUT THATS SOMETHING I CAN AFFORD. No “I’m Just A Girl Shit”) With A Interest Rate Of 2.9% , Which Is Incredible But You Want Most Of Your Money To Go To The Principal, Not The Interest Rate Or You’ll Never Pay The Damn Thing Off. So I Say This To Say, DO WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD! Having Payments Isn’t Bad If You Stay Within Your Price Range And Don’t Let Them Folks Try To Get You To Pay More. My Credit Score Came From Literally One Secured Credit Card (Which Is No Longer Secured Due To Me Paying It On Time For Years) And Paying My Car Payment. OH And My Payment Is $500 Because I Added Some Stuff. Let’s Just Say I Dont Have To Pay For Maintenance For 5 Years 😌 Not Even Electrical. Learn To Work Them Numbers On They Ass Like They Try To Do You And Don’t Back Down. If It’s Something You Know You Can’t Do, WALK TF AWAY! They Don’t Have To Pay It, YOU DO!
