My Poohbear 🥹🩵

This is my doggie Poohbear! When my dad’s pitbull had puppies I INSTANTLY fell in love with him! He was such a chunky puppy and loved to eat and sleep but when I held him I knew we were going to be best friends forever. He was right by my side as I went through the most abusive relationship of my life. He always made me feel so loved. He was just so happy and loved being my dog. Then I grew up a little and he was with my parents one Halloween while I attended my first ever Halloween party… sadly he got attacked by another dog when being taken out to use the restroom. My bubba hung in there right until I was able to come home. I came to him as soon as I found out (my parents didn’t want to ruin my night so they waited till the next morning to tell me) and sobbed with him…. I knew I was loosing my best friend in doggie form… I ended up having to leave and I got a call when I was at the gas station up the street that he had passed :( I’ve yet to fall in love with a dog like I did him but I’m hoping someday my kids will get to connect with a pet of their own like I was able to with Poohbear!

... Read morePoohbear was more than just a pet; he was a loyal friend who stood by me through thick and thin, especially during challenging moments in my life. Losing him was incredibly painful, and it highlights the profound connection we form with our pets. Many pet lovers can relate to this strong bond. Ways to honor the memory of a beloved pet include creating a scrapbook filled with photos and memories, sharing stories about them with friends and family, or even planting a tree or flower in their name. In today's world, pets bring comfort and joy that are essential to our emotional well-being. Engaging in pet therapy has proven beneficial for many, helping to alleviate stress and improve mental health. If you are considering getting a new pet, take your time and choose one that matches your lifestyle and personality, ensuring a connection like that of Poohbear and me. Cherishing the memories of our pets will always keep their spirit alive in our hearts.
