This year was filled with so many ups and downs. So many lessons were definitely learned. Going through unexpected weather that included the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in my town and surrounding areas/communities/ Western side of North Carolina. Stepping away from a friendship, trying in see the northern lights (that was a fail lol), and etc. 2024 was definitely a wild ride lol.
Some challenges that I’ve overcome was deciding to walk away from a friendship that was no longer serving me. I realized some people just aren’t worth my time/energy. Another challenge is putting myself before others. I tend to put everyone else’s feelings before my own. I’m still unlearning it’s ok to be selfish sometimes.
Lastly going through everything with Hurricane Helene it definitely shaped me in many different ways. I learned to be grateful for what I have bc it can be gone in a snap and check in on your love ones more.
