Low self-esteem is no joke!!
I feel every single person has likely experienced low self-esteem sometime through their life.
This girl absolutely has!!
I remember when I was a teenager I struggled so badly with my self-esteem. Talking negatively to myself, comparing myself to others, the feeling of failing and so many other things.
I felt like I was constantly running a mile a minute just in my brain because my self-esteem was so incredibly bad. It was so mentally exhausting.
Being 25 now I’ve become more aware of it and learned so much about myself.
-We are all on different timelines in life so comparing ourselves is not good for your mental health.
- Writing down positive affirmations to stick on your mirror or anywhere to read.
- do something that makes you happy/enjoy like reading, coloring, hanging out with friends/family , or taking a nice walk.
- recognizing your own strength
- setting personal boundaries
-celebrating your achievements
-Even trying out therapy
I still have tiny moments but then I snap out of it.
What are some ways you worked on your self-esteem? Are you struggling with it now?
