Corvin Castle | Hunedoara 🇷🇴
Corvin Castle is a Gothic castle, that was built in the fifteenth century after being commissioned by John Hunyadi. It is one of the largest castles in Europe and a central part in Romania’s history. If it looks familiar it may be because it’s been a filming location for a handful of movies such as Nosferatu (2024) and The Nun (2018).
It is a beautiful, well preserved, and definitely worth the stop if you’re making your way through Romania. I made a pit stop here on my way from Sibiu to Brașov. I spent a total of 2 and a half hours here and felt like that was an adequate amount of time.
