Better late than never

I used to hate wearing the hijab when i was 20! I felt forced and so ugly all the time. But i prayed and prayed for Allah to make it easier and Alhamdulillah, it really did 💖 Wear the hijab with the right intentions and Allah will surely reward you tremendously, do it for the sake of Allah SWT! Not for anyone else ❤️ Alhamdulillah for 1 year (actually my one year is January 1st but i forgot LOL)

Looking back at my journey, I remember the initial discomfort and sense of being forced, feelings many sisters can relate to. However, what helped me immensely was the power of consistent prayer and setting sincere intentions solely for Allah SWT. This approach allowed me to embrace the hijab not as an obligation but as a source of inner peace and spiritual growth. Many find that over time, the hijab becomes more than a piece of clothing—it becomes a symbol of devotion and confidence. Engaging with supportive communities, reading inspiring stories, and reflecting on the meanings behind the hijab helped me change my mindset. I learned to appreciate the spiritual rewards that come with this journey, as well as the personal strength it fosters. Consistency is key. In my case, perseverance through the initial year was made easier by remembering that the hijab is ultimately a gift of modesty and protection. I encourage anyone struggling through the early days to keep their focus on their personal relationship with Allah and to seek comfort through prayer and patience. The feeling of liberation and pride that follows is truly worth every challenge faced along the way.

Stop over-romanticising the hustle culture
It’s so easy to feel like we’re never doing enough. In a culture that glorifies hustle, exhaustion becomes normal and rest feels undeserved. We push harder, stay later, and tell ourselves it’ll be worth it someday. As I mentioned, ambition isn’t wrong. Wanting a better life isn’t wrong. But w
