Have you ever had a workout slump?

If you've followed me, hi I'm still going to the gym!

I lost 30lbs between October '23 and March '24 but I kind of fell off after that. I got to my lowest weight (in my 20s) at 152 and then I fell back on eating fast food. And then it turned into sugary sweets and drinks... and then I was taking weeks off the gym. And I went back up to 160 and got really upset with myself...

I've always struggled with the cusp of pre diabetes. My drs told me I have fatty liver and I retain so much water in every pocket of my body. I've never been a thin person. Even in school I was "cute chubby". Yes someone actually said that to me 😐 but here's the thing about me:

I am relentlessly resilient. I know when I'm being lazy and I can motivate myself to bounce back! And because of that I'm back down 5lbs! I've been eating whole foods and trying to cut any processed foods where I can. I still love that sabra hummus 😅 but like once you realize how much "added sugar" is in all of this stuff we eat and drink here in the US it really wakes you up.

Anyway, I'm back on my fitness journey that started out as spite ✨ maybe I'll do a "what I eat in a day" post! I promise it's all healthy and not a toxic eating habit! 3 full meals a day and even snacks!
