I have a large variety of fragrances because I don't have a specific note that I absolutely love. A fun fact about me is I went through about 4 years of extensive perfumery training learning about the 50 master noses in the world and how some notes chemically alter the brain. I could talk about it all day!!
For example:
Ambroxan is a chemical that will literally change your brain chemistry. It's addicting causing you to go back and smell more and more and MORE! It's used in the finest perfumes and mens colognes. It's what gives expensive scents those amber, woody, creamy base notes! However, this is a rare material leading these fragrances to cost hundreds... when you add saffron in the mix, you get a near $500 perfume but gosh is that creed so yummy!
Another fact is that EDP and EDT are no different in ingredient usage. Toilette doesn't mean watered down, it means crisp notes like citrus. Parfume is predominantly base like vanilla and accord notes. So if you're a clean girl, edt is the way to go!
I could tell you a life time of stories for the last three on my list but just trust me when I tell you, they're top tier! And this list is the top 9 in my collection... yes I own worse things than Juliette 😅 so Vilhelm is at the tippy top of my list!
My honorable mention was the My Burberry in the cover pic. She's over 10 years old so unfortunately I have to say bye but that was my very first "luxury" perfume. Then it was all Miss Dior and Dior Joy
