MOVING AGAIN ✨ leasing glitch??
Last August we moved into an apartment that has been nothing but hell. I have never had upstairs neighbors that were so disrespectful and completely un-self-aware and I’m SO glad to know we were never exaggerating. After the family of 4 above us moved out, maintenance has been up there and we can hardly hear them. I’m telling yall.. it would be recorders screaming at 8am, banging on the floor like drums, running from one end to the other all day, kicking balls at our cars, leaving bikes in front of our garage. We have a whole chain of emails about these issues and nothing was done.
Secondly, the kids upstairs allegedly would fill the tub and leave it like that leaving it to drain and leak into our garage and pooling by the wall. We pay way too much to not be able to use our garage. We placed a work order to have it fixed and they came and left a huge hole in the ceiling and literally forgot about it. When we reached out a few times over the next few months, they said they had no previous work orders on this.
ANYWAY to make a long fucking story and a shitty ass year short, our old complex had a system glitch that dropped leasing about $3-400 so we went to look and they said they will honor the price we want! We immediately applied so we are finally getting out of this “luxury” shithole 😇 swipe to see our new floor plan! We are going to set up a game room finally! My pc has been in the dining room at our last 2 places so this will be so nice. And it’s upstairs at a place we know and loved for years. We moved in during Covid and left in 2024. I’m so ready to go back!
*we are buying a house later on. It’s just not the right time and there’s nothing in our range and area to rent. We’ve been talking with realtors. We are in our 30s and we’re well moved so I don’t need advice or opinions, this is just an update
