How to mentally glow up

... Read moreMentally glowing up is a journey that requires patience and consistent effort, but the benefits are truly rewarding. From my experience, starting a creative hobby like painting or gardening has been a game changer. These activities not only foster mindfulness but also provide an outlet to express emotions and reduce stress. I've found that even simple tasks like sketching or tending to plants can create a calming routine. Hydration is often overlooked but is crucial; drinking enough water really does improve your energy and clarity of thought. Pairing this with at least 30 minutes outdoors daily—whether it’s a walk in the park or just sitting in natural sunlight—has significantly elevated my mood and reduced feelings of anxiety. Surrounding myself with positive media and people has also shaped my mental glow-up. Switching to uplifting music or podcasts helps shift my mindset away from negativity. It’s important to be mindful of what content you consume because it directly influences your emotions and mental state. Exercise is another essential element. It doesn’t have to be intense; even gentle yoga or a daily stretch releases natural endorphins that boost happiness and alleviate tension. This physical movement gives my mind a much-needed break from overthinking. Lastly, embracing a personal style that makes you feel confident and authentic can dramatically impact your self-esteem. It’s about finding what feels good to you, which reinforces self-love and vulnerability in a positive way. Remember, mental health improvement takes time. It’s okay to take small steps and celebrate each win along the way. Building the mental health you deserve is a continuous process, but these practices have helped me feel more grounded, hopeful, and mentally vibrant every day.

I'm very insecure of my body and how I look but I have been trying to find what makes me happy lately even if that just waking up early and making my bed doing my hair and drinking water or going for a walk and writing I have also been trying to enjoy my hobbies and stop bullying myself so much and it's going very well 🥰 also this video helped so much!
