Hillsong United's "United We Stand" album turned 20 today. Wow.

As they say, time travel does exist, it exists through music. Today I listened to this great album and remembered how I felt when I heard that great intro, oh my, what an intro! What a well-made album! It it Hillsong United's best album.

I know that those of my generation remember those youth services we went to, oh, and what to say about the fact that this album brought the rock genre into church services.

An album full of biblical truths (which is now needed in some), motivated us to carry Jesus' name on high and live for Him, giving glory only to Him. An album with great songs of praise and worship. It's just great from start to finish.

"United We Stand" has a special place in my heart, as with it I was introduced to music with a real meaning. To this day, I thank my dad for giving me such an amazing disc as a gift.

Although today the status of this group that impacted generations is still uncertain, we know that this album marked, for many, a before and after in our walk with Jesus, and led us to shout in chorus: "Jesus we are living for Your name, and we will never be ashamed of You! Our praise and all we are today, take, take, take it all! Take, take, take it all!".
