Favorite Looks From the BAFTAs
▪️Carrie Mulligan-I mean are we surprised? If you’ve seen my past posts, you know I love a good classic ballgown and wreath. Wearing Dior Haute Couture & a Bulgarian necklace, She can do no wrong in my opinion.
▪️Rosalind Pike, also in Dior Haute Couture. I’m obsessed with the muted blue grey & nude combo. This feels like a vintage piece
▪️ Emily Blunt wearing a fresh take on the naked dress in Elie Saab. Normally I’m not one for a naked dress, and I think they’re tired but this is just stunning. Plus the glam is to die for.
▪️Lily Collins in Tamara Ralph. Forever giving Snow White. Love the puff sleeves covered in rosettes and the jewel encrusted Florals at the neck. Opulence was clearly important to her team
▪️Taylor Russel in Loewe. Between the ostrich feathers and the side swept hair, it’s giving 1930s for 2024.
▪️ Gillian Anderson in Valentino - So regal and understated butt he color on her is to die for. Her team never fails. Always one of my favorites (plus it’s backless!)
▪️Sheila Atim in Gucci - she looks like art. So beautifully cut. Fits her like a dream. Even though it’s sequins it still feel regal and sophisticated
▪️ Fantasia Barrino in June Givanni (maybe?) - bold shapes. Stunning color. Sheer gloves are still a favorite. I saw different designers names attached to this look and I didn’t watch the carpet live. Anyone have any clarity?
▪️ Cate Blanchett in Louis Vuitton - the details int he neck, wraps around the her bum. And I’m loving middle aged women reclaiming their bodies and style with backless gowns. So here for it!
▪️ Da’Vine Joy Randolph wearing London-based designer Robert Wun - Bringing the drama and glamour. The color is making her glow and I love that she chose a London based designer, as a tribute to both her career, which started on the West End and for her first BAFTAs.
