Sometimes the most down & out flea markets have the best finds hidden inside.
This is definitely tied for my best flea market or antique store find (I found a vintage Kelly bag in a paris flea market for €800 once)

The Story:

I have to go way out of the way for a Target pickup (the only location that had this particular item) and my GPS decided to take me back roads the entire way. I drove past a VERY down & out antique mall and as I drive past, a big Moravian star caught my eye…but I keep driving. I got a mile away before deciding to turn around and check it out, you know, just in case. Fully expecting it to be $800+ dollars (or already sold)
At first I thought it was a mistake. I read it thinking it said $590 (and I was considering it, it needs some work so I figured I could negotiate it down) Then I kept looking at it, and it registered that it says $59…so yeah. She came home with me.
She needs some work. Needs to be rewired. And two of the pains of glass need to be replaced. I’m thinking about replacing all of the glass with seeded glass anyway so it’s no issue at all.
I’m just in awe. I probably used up all of my kick for the whole year I’m this find hit I don’t care because she’s going to be so beautiful in our next home🌟
