Orlando Blog: Day Two

We started out day two by taking an early walk around our resort. It’s a huge space with multiple pools, restaurants, a lake and golf courses. There’s a path that boomed around it all so we got our coffee to go and got those steps in the early morning sunshine. Loved seeing the turtles and fishes from the lake bridge🐢🐟

Then we spent a few hours by the pool…phone free.

We changed for dinner and headed to Disney Springs to try out @Summer House on the Lake for the first time. This is the newest restaurant at DS so we we’re so excited to get a reservation. The restaurant itself is Beautiful but they’re definitely still working out the kinks…I posted all about it on my Yelp review (I’ll link it below if you want to check it out). If your headed to Disney Springs I would stop in for a drink at the bar and a cookie but skip it for a while yet.

After we are we did a shopping and met the sweetest little pup getting a brand new pair of ears. I was obsessed!

I brought home 2 pairs of ears and a new sweatshirt and I’ll post about those soon🤍

Read moreOn our second day in Orlando, we decided to take advantage of the serene early morning atmosphere by walking around our sprawling resort, which features numerous pools, restaurants, a mesmerizing lake, and immaculate golf courses. As we strolled with our morning coffee, we delighted in the sights of turtles and fish lounging in the lake beneath the morning sun. Spending several hours relaxing by the pool allowed us to recharge without any distractions from our devices. For dinner, we were eager to check out the latest addition to the Disney Springs dining scene, Summer House on the Lake. While the restaurant showcases a beautiful ambiance, it's worth noting that they are still refining their service and menu. We suggest grabbing a drink at the bar and perhaps a cookie, but hold off on a full meal until they settle in. Our evening was further enriched by a delightful shopping experience at Disney Springs, where we met a charming little puppy donning a fresh pair of Disney ears. Sharing our haul of two adorable ears and a cozy sweatshirt back at the resort made for a perfect day! Don't forget to read my Yelp review for more details on Summer House on the Lake!
