Orlando Vacation Blog: Day Three

…fair warning, the first slide isn’t cute…

I woke up bright and early excited for our first park day at Universal Studios Florida to find that overnight I had had a sever allergic reactions (still no idea what caused it over a week later) and I had to rush to urgent care. A few hours, 3 shots, 5 steroids and 3 antibiotics later, the swelling was coming down and I was cleared to go to the parks.

Finally arrived at Universal Orlando Resort around noon - we sadly missed our reservation at Mythos. But we got right to it. Met up with friends. Got our obligatory Universal Ball Photos and rode all the rides.

I ended up skipping a few of the larger coasters (like Velocicoaster) because I was a little queasy from al the medication and I didn’t want to make myself sick. So that was a bummer because like…that’s a pretty big part of Universal. But it was a gorgeous day. It wasn’t busy for a weekend. And I got to ride my favorite Jurassic Park River Adventure™ and Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts so I was happy.

We got a late night last min reservation at Bigfire which I highly recommend (10/10! It is gorgeous and had great food. Sweet and quick staff. Easy after the parks) I took 0 photos because we were so tired and so hungry. We just wanted to eat…and headed home to rest for another park day
