Orlando Vacation Blog: Day Five EPCOT

EPCOT Day!

Our third park day in a row. We actually allowed ourselves to sleep in. Had breakfast at the hotel and got to the park around11 am. We were feeling our age n our feet. Very sor4e & tired. This may be the end of back to back park fates for us lol

This was the day we were celebrating my husbands 32nd birthday with our friends who were with us (they won’t be in town for his actual birthday) so the plan was to ride the rides and then drink & eat our way around the world & Festival.

I got to meet Figment which I had been looking forward to for ages and he was adorable.

Our favorite stall were Farmers Feast, the Boba stall in Japan (not part of the Festival YAY) and the Bauernmarkt (in Germany) The Ham & Cheese pretzel roll was incredible.

We stayed to close the park and loved every second!

EPCOT, which stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, is one of Disney World's most popular parks, known for its diverse cultural experiences and innovative attractions. During our visit, we indulged in the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival, a seasonal celebration filled with exquisite floral displays and enticing food offerings. Exploring the festival, we tasted delectable dishes from around the world, including the famed Ham & Cheese Pretzel Roll from the Bauernmarkt in Germany, which left a lasting impression. A highlight was the Boba stall in Japan, serving delightful drinks that enhanced our culinary adventure. A significant moment of our day was finally meeting Figment, the lovable purple dragon who sparks creativity in visitors. This encounter was magical and drew smiles from everyone in the party. We experienced a modified 'Drinking Around the World' challenge, sharing drinks as we navigated the park, which not only saved us money but also ensured we enjoyed a variety of flavors without overindulging. To conclude our EPCOT adventure, we watched the park's stunning nighttime show, basking in the light and energy of the surroundings as we closed our day with laughter and camaraderie. EPCOT is undeniably a place of joy and discovery, making it an ideal spot for unforgettable celebrations.
