Recreating Pintrest Looks
Now that I’ve officially booked my honeymoon in Italy it’s time to get serious about the shopping. T-82 Days until honeymoon!!
For anyone new, I got married in 2020 in a micro wedding (we all know why) and then had my big wedding in 2022. I have had to cancel & postpone my honeymoon 4 times for various reasons and have not been on it yet. But now we’ve officially booked our 5th attempt and I’M SO EXCITED!! I wanted to go to Italy initially but at the time my mother was sick and it felt too far away. So this feels very full circle for me.
I’m going to be focusing on recreating some Pintrest outfits for the next few weeks while collecting the last few key items these are a few I’ve loved lately

Since I'm deep into planning my dream Italy honeymoon wardrobe, I wanted to share some of my personal strategies for curating the perfect collection of outfits, beyond just recreating specific Pinterest looks. It's not just about looking chic; it's about feeling comfortable and confident while exploring those breathtaking Italian streets! First off, when thinking about Italy honeymoon outfits, I'm really leaning into that 'Old Money' and 'Quiet Luxury' aesthetic. For me, this means focusing on timeless pieces, quality fabrics, and a sophisticated color palette. Think crisp linen shirts, tailored trousers or shorts, and elegant midi dresses in neutral tones like ivory, beige, navy, and classic black. I’m picturing myself in a beautiful white off-the-shoulder top with a flowy skirt, or a sleek sleeveless mini dress – perfect for those European summer vibes! The OCR also mentioned 'european inspired summer outfit,' which totally resonates with this understated elegance. One big tip I've learned is to prioritize versatility. When you're packing for a honeymoon, especially one with multiple destinations within Italy, every piece needs to earn its spot in your suitcase. I'm aiming for items that can easily transition from a daytime sightseeing adventure to a romantic evening dinner with a simple change of accessories. A great pair of tailored linen shorts, for example, can be dressed down with flat sandals and a T-shirt, or elevated with a silk camisole and low heels. I’m also making sure my shoes are both stylish AND comfortable – cobblestone streets are no joke! My go-to will be chic flat sandals or elegant white sneakers for daytime, and maybe a low block heel for evenings. Don't forget the power of accessories! A wide-brimmed hat, stylish sunglasses (like those oval ones I saw in a Pinterest recreation!), and a beautiful scarf can instantly transform an outfit. I've been eyeing some gorgeous gold jewelry to add that touch of 'quiet luxury' without being overly flashy. And a structured handbag – something that holds its shape – is a must for both practicality and polish. Finally, consider the climate. Italy in the summer can be hot, so breathable fabrics like linen, cotton, and silk are your best friends. Layering is also key, especially for cooler evenings or visits to churches where modesty might be required. A lightweight blazer or a chic cardigan is perfect to throw over a dress or top. My goal is to feel effortlessly put-together, even when it's scorching hot. This whole process has been such a journey, especially after four postponements, but curating these Italy honeymoon outfits is making the anticipation even sweeter. I can't wait to share my final looks with you all!
