Target Shoe Find!!!
Mesh Ballet Flats & Mary Jane’s at Target-all under $35
This is not my favorite trend in recent years but I do think it’s going to have some legs-especially leather versions. I could easily see this trend going into fall & can easily foresee it lasting well into winter so with that in mind I probably want to get a pair just to feel a part of it…but not spend an arm & leg to do so.
I spotted these the other day and had to pick them up. All fit TTS (wearing my typical 7.5 in both) and bar so light & comfy!

Okay, so let's dive deeper into these amazing Target finds! When I first saw these mesh ballet flats and Mary Janes, I was genuinely shocked by the quality for the price. Seriously, I've tried on so many pricier options that felt stiff or had scratchy mesh, but these from Target? The mesh is incredibly soft and comfortable right out of the box. It really feels pretty much identical to far more expensive options I've seen in boutiques. This is why I always check Target first for trendy pieces – they often nail the look and feel without the hefty price tag. Now, let's talk styling, because I know that's a big question with mesh flats. These are surprisingly versatile! For a casual daytime look, I'd pair the mesh flats with some cropped straight-leg jeans, a simple white tee, and a cute cardigan. They instantly elevate a basic outfit. If you're going for a slightly dressier vibe, imagine them with a flowy midi skirt and a fitted top, or even a chic summer dress. The Mary Janes, especially, have that classic charm that looks amazing with tailored trousers for a smart casual office look, or with a pleated mini skirt for a more playful, preppy feel. What I love is how seamlessly these can transition through seasons. The original post mentioned they have 'legs' into fall and winter, and I totally agree! Layer them with some cute socks or tights when the weather gets cooler. For instance, the white pair (yes, they also comes in white, which is so chic!) would look fantastic with dark tights and a cozy knit dress for an autumnal feel. And if you're feeling adventurous, that idea of thinking about removing the strap to turn them into classic ballet flats? Genius! It gives you two styles in one for just $30. Shopping for shoes at Target can be hit or miss, but these are definitely a hit. My best advice is to check your local store's stock online before heading out, as popular items like these tend to fly off the shelves. And don't worry about sizing – just like I found, they fit true to size (TTS). So if you're typically a 7.5, grab a 7.5! It takes the guesswork out of online ordering. These affordable finds make it easy to try out the mesh flat and Mary Jane trend without buyer's remorse. Trust me, your feet (and your wallet!) will thank you.
