Stocking Stuffers I Bought This Week

Four weeks ago I posted my best stocking stuffer tip: Start in October, buy one gift per stocking each week and by the time you reach Christmas you’ll be all set. (I’ll add it in the comments if you want to check her out but the gift of it is on slide ✌🏼)

It’s the best money saving & planning hack. You can plan your buys based on your weekly budget and get more creative, interesting, personal gifts because time will also be on your side.

I started a series leading up the holidays of the stocking stuffers I buy each week to try to inspire you to shop early this holiday season we are in week five now (don’t forget to scroll to find the last few posts on the topic for all the inspo!)

Now in our house I take care of most of the gifting. My husband I set a budget for each person and I come up with ideas and we choose together. He definitely takes care of my gift alone but where the stocking is concerned, I just get myself stuff and charge him. He’s not organized enough for a stocking and I’m super okay with that because this way I’m getting exactly what I want lol

Who we’re shopping for:

———————————————

This year my aunt & unkle are staying with us for Christmas so we’re shopping for them, plus my husband and I-we do not have children yet. 2 stockings for our pets (1 for the cats & 1 for the dogs) & we’ll be sending a mini stocking to our baby niece & nephew who is a toddler (2). Because they are small I’ll start those closer to the holidays.

This week I purchased:

—————————————

🎁Sean (My husband): A toe hanger so he can get his ties off of the lump of a tie mountain he crested

🎁My Aunt & Uncle: they both have trouble sleeping so I ordered them each one of the weighted sleep masks. They can be frozen for when you have a headache or heated up for when your folks or just need some toasty time

🎁Myself: Scalloped edge coaster for our living room. We are redecorating our living room (slowly) & the old set just doesn’t fit the vibe anymore

... Read moreFinding the perfect stocking stuffers can feel like a daunting task, but it doesn't have to be! My favorite hack is to start early – as early as October – and pick up one small, thoughtful gift for each stocking every week. This way, you spread out the cost, avoid last-minute panic, and have time to discover truly unique items that feel special and personal, rather than just filling space. This week, my finds were all about combining practicality with a touch of luxury, making them feel like 'star' gifts that truly delight. For my husband, Sean, I snagged a sleek tie hanger. It might seem simple, but it’s a game-changer for organizing his growing collection and tackling that 'tie mountain'! It’s a reminder that the best gifts often solve a small problem or make daily life a little smoother. Practical gifts for men, especially those that help with organization or hobbies, are always a hit in my experience. For my aunt and uncle, who both struggle with sleep, I found weighted sleep masks. These are fantastic because they can be frozen for headaches or warmed up for a cozy, relaxing feeling. It's a thoughtful self-care item that shows you truly understand their needs. These aren't just any eye masks; the weighted aspect elevates them, making them feel like a little spa treatment at home. This is a great example of a small luxury that makes a big impact. And for myself (because treating yourself is part of the fun!), I picked up a set of scalloped stoneware coasters. We're slowly redecorating our living room, and our old coasters just didn't fit the new vibe. These add an elegant touch and elevate the space without breaking the bank. Little home decor pieces can be perfect stocking stuffers, especially when they contribute to a larger aesthetic goal. When you're on the hunt for your own 'star' stocking stuffers, think beyond the ordinary. What are those small items your loved ones wouldn't typically buy themselves but would absolutely adore? Consider their hobbies: a unique gourmet spice blend for the chef, a specialized pen for the avid writer, or a mini, high-quality art supply for the creative soul. Small, high-quality beauty or grooming minis from their favorite brands also make fantastic, coveted additions. Another great tip is to consider 'experience' stocking stuffers. A tiny gift card to their favorite coffee shop, a voucher for a single online class, or even a beautifully designed bookmark accompanying a promise to buy them their next book. The key is to make these small gifts feel intentional and cherished. By planning ahead and keeping an eye out for these gems, you'll fill those stockings with treasures that genuinely bring joy, making your holiday gifting both effortless and memorable. Happy hunting!
