Blossoming Souls 🌸

Restart, Reset, Retocus

Sundays I like to use as my reflecting day! | reflect on my past week journal my pros and cons, write down goals for the upcoming week. Lately I'm struggling with laziness, procrastination & self doubt! | know what I want and what I need to do but make excuses on why I don't do it! I'm learning to push myself more, believe in me and also lean more on GOD and allow him to lead !

So in my journal prompts I added scriptures to help give me the push I need when I feel like I don't want to. Music helps me feel good, journaling helps me when I'm overthinking & my flowers just gave me the reminder that we are blossoming

p.s I cannot draw so save the jokes and comments

When struggling with laziness and self-doubt, it can feel overwhelming to take that first step toward change. One thing that really helped me was incorporating faith-based journal prompts, similar to those shared here from verses like Philippians 4:13 and Jeremiah 29:11. These scriptures reminded me that strength and purpose come from trusting a higher plan rather than relying solely on my own willpower. Music became another important tool. Creating a playlist of uplifting, calming songs helped shift my mindset on tough days. When the weight of procrastination seemed too heavy, listening to those songs encouraged me to get moving, even if just a little bit. Journaling itself served as a powerful outlet. Writing down my goals, my fears, and even my excuses clarified the root causes of my hesitation. Acknowledging feelings of doubt and laziness openly allowed me to face them rather than avoid them. The act of putting pen to paper created commitment and accountability. The reminder symbolized by the author’s flowers—that we are all blossoming—was a beautiful metaphor. Growth doesn’t happen overnight, but by steadily pushing through moments of weakness and leaning into faith, we nurture ourselves toward realized potential. I also learned the importance of asking for help and leaning on community—whether through prayer groups or supportive friends—to keep motivation high. Overall, combining spiritual support with practical reflection strategies empowered me greatly. If you’re facing similar challenges, consider setting aside a weekly time to reset your intentions, use meaningful scriptures or quotes for encouragement, and actively combat procrastination by breaking tasks into small, achievable steps. Remember, the journey to self-improvement is ongoing and blossoming, just like the souls described in this inspiring post.
