Iced coffee at home
I’m obsessed with iced coffee but I realize it was totally putting a whole on my pocket because of how expensive it was getting! That $5 adds up quick daily!
I also realize that I’d order an iced coffee and it was delicious then next time I’d get it wasn’t as good. It wasn’t the same color. It was like a hit or miss every Time I ordered an iced coffee so I decided I didn’t want to waste anymore money on coffee that may or may not be good.
I discovered I could make iced coffee with iced coffee so I tried it and not only have I saved probably hundreds of dollars but I am hooked on this iced coffee recipe! It’s so delicious! Taste perfect every time!
Brown Sugar Vanilla Iced Coffee ☕️
Servings: 1
Ingredient 1: 3tsp of Nescafé Instant Coffee
Ingredient 2: 1/2 cup water
Ingredient 3: Milk of choice (I used whole milk)
Ingredient 4: Vanilla creamer
Ingredient 5: Brown sugar syrup home made.( just boil one cup of water to one cup of brown sugar until it combines to a liquid)
Ingredient 6: (optional) toppings. I used whip cream and caramel drizzle.
Detailed Steps:
Add your 3 tsp of instant coffee to a glass and a half cup of water. Stir it until coffee grounds are dissolved.
Add ice to your cup and add milk of choice to almost the top of the ice. Leave some room to add about 2-3 tbs of vanilla creamer.
After adding your milk and creamer to your iced coffee, stir everything and add 1-2 tbs of the brown sugar syrup. Stir again.
Lastly this is optional but add your topping like whipped cream, sweet foam and caramel drizzle.
This is my favorite iced coffee recipe by far and I have had several of my friends and family try it and they call me a barista and tell me I need to open a coffee shop 😆

I used to spend a fortune on my daily iced coffee, never quite getting it right. But once I started making my own creamy brown sugar vanilla iced coffee at home, everything changed! It's not just about saving money; it's about customizing every single sip to pure perfection. If you're wondering how to make vanilla coffee that rivals your favorite cafe, or how to achieve that rich, creamy texture without breaking the bank, let me share some of my favorite tips and tricks! First, let's talk about creaminess. The type of milk you choose makes a huge difference. While the original recipe suggests whole milk, I've found that oat milk or even a good quality half-and-half can elevate the creaminess to another level, giving you that luxurious mouthfeel similar to a vanilla iced capp. For an extra special touch, you can even whisk a little bit of your milk or creamer with a handheld frother to create a cold foam topping. It's surprisingly easy and makes your homemade iced coffee feel incredibly gourmet, especially when you're aiming for a sugary iced coffee drink with whipped cream and caramel drizzle, just like the picture perfect visuals we all love. Next, the star of the show: the brown sugar vanilla flavor. Our homemade brown sugar syrup is fantastic, but don't be afraid to experiment! You can infuse your vanilla creamer with a vanilla bean for a deeper flavor, or even add a pinch of cinnamon to your brown sugar syrup as it simmers for a warm, spiced twist. For those who love a brown sugar vanilla latte, adding a shot of robust espresso instead of instant coffee can transform this recipe into a true cafe-style indulgence. If you're a fan of the Tim Hortons brown sugar cream coffee, playing with the balance of brown sugar and cream can help you replicate that distinct taste right in your own kitchen. And let's not forget the versatility of your coffee base. While instant coffee is incredibly convenient and makes for a quick fix, brewing a batch of cold brew concentrate ahead of time can give your homemade vanilla iced coffee a smoother, less bitter profile. Just store it in the fridge and mix it with your milk, syrup, and creamer whenever a craving hits for a creamy coffee at home. It’s all about finding what works best for your taste and schedule. Finally, toppings! Don't underestimate the power of a good topping to make your large sugary coffee drink with whipped cream feel like a treat. Beyond classic whipped cream and a luscious caramel drizzle, consider a dusting of cocoa powder, a sprinkle of sea salt flakes for a salted caramel vibe, or even crushed nuts. These little additions not only enhance the visual appeal but also add delightful textures and flavors. Making these small adjustments has made my homemade vanilla iced coffee a true highlight of my day, and I'm confident it can for you too!

Does the brown sugar syrup need to be refrigerated? And can you use the Splenda brown sugar substitute?
